How Dangerous of Polycystic Kidney Disease

Polycystic Kidney Disease is one inherited kidney disorder that causes numerous cysts to develop in kidneys. It is one common kidney disease all over the world. Let learn about how dangerous of polycystic kidney disease

1. Heredity: The polycystic kidney disease is a genetic kidney disorder. When the patients have this disease, they will scare that the disease can be passed on to their children, and the family is afraid to have this disease gene.

2. Growth: With age increases, the number and size of the kidney cysts are gradually increasing and changing.

3. Complications: Cystic changes in polycystic kidney disease are not only confined to the kidneys, but also relate to the liver, pancreas, spleen, ovary and other organs. Therefore, the polycystic kidney disease is not only the main cause for renal failure, but also a systemic disease.

So, Can polycystic kidney disease be cured?

Actually, Kidney disease cannot be cured. But it can be treated in a stable condition with proper treatment. PKD( polycystic kidney disease) patients need receive the proper treatments and treat their kidney disease in time once they found their condition. For those patients who have diabetes, surgery would lead to infection, TCM( traditional Chinese medicine) therapy could help patients shrink their cysts in a natural way without surgery. It also could help patients reduce creatinine level and improve their blood circulation and immune system.

If you are a PKD( polycystic kidney disease) patient, and seeking the proper treatments now, do not forget consult us with Whatsapp: 008615233618520, Email: kidneyfailurecn@hotmail.com. We would like to give you some better advice about your condition.

Kidney failure can be delay and controlled.

Kidney disease is a kidney disease that long-term accumulated in daily life, the cause of the disease is vary and complex, a lot of patients don't know different periods symptoms caused by the disease, so that delayed the treatment. Can it be delayed or prevented ahead of time after the discovery of the kidney failure?

Renal failure usually don't show symptoms at an early stage, so often can be found in urine and blood tests. When close to the loss of renal function, will show the following symptoms:

1.The body is unwell Due to continuous accumulation in the body toxins and waste, the patient may feel whole body is unwell. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, can not sleep well at night, loss appetite, itch and fatigue.

2.Edema and Anemia Patients with kidney failure can easily lead to spray blood and edema, give a great pain to patients.

3.Other symptoms Blood in the urine is showed by dark brown or blood red in the urine, high blood pressure, bubble, diarrhea, extreme thirst, sleep, or drowsiness, decreased libido.

What is the kidney failure treatment?  More informations contact Whatsapp: +8615233618520, Email: kidneyfailurecn@hotmail.com.

1.Control high blood pressure, diabetes nephropathy patients should be actively control of blood pressure, and to buck up to standard, protect kidney function, can effectively reduce the urine protein excretion, so it should be in the first place.

2.Control blood lipid levels.Blood fat is always a factor, so in order to get good control of diabetic nephropathy, patients need to blood lipids control normal as far as possible, both triglycerides and cholesterol.

3.Strict control of blood sugar, blood glucose strictly controlled in the ideal range, glycosylated hemoglobin remained at less then7%, for the majority of patients with early nephropathy is very helpful. End-stage renal disease patients should be very careful when controlling blood sugar, due to insufficient food and inactivated, hypoglycemia is easy to occur.

4.Diet should be given priority to with high quality animal protein, like lean meat, beef, fish, eggs, etc., can also eat a low salt diet, if appear edema or high blood pressure, to control salt, but also to drink less.

5.The active treatment of various urinary system disease. Bacteria is easy to multiply under the environment of high sugar, that can cause urinary tract infections. Another is smoking can increase the incidence of urinary protein independence, all patients fear of renal failure to quit smoking immediately.

6.Use of antiplatelet aggregation drugs, There is also clotting factors cause of diabetic nephropathy except the metabolic factors. Kidney patients with anticoagulant therapy is often effective. "Kidney disease is a disease has big harm to human body, patients with general symptoms of the disease, in order to avoid the condition worsen,it is a wise choice to heal as soon as possible."

Kidney Failure Treatment: Diet and Chinese Medicine

Prevent kidney disease Prevent is the goal with kidney failure. High blood pressure and diabetes are the two common reasons of chronic disease. If they are not under control, they can damage kidneys and organs. Gradually they can lead to kidney failure. Once kidney failure happens, the goal is to prevent further damage of kidney function.

Manage daily diet Diet plays an important role in the impaired kidney function. Proper and well-managed diet contributes to control symptoms and alleviate illness conditions. Well, what is the proper diet for kidney failure patients?

Low phosphorus intake Phosphorus may be elevated in the body in the kidney failure. In daily diet, patients with kidney failure should avoid high phosphorus foods such as milk, cheese, nuts and cola drinks.

Low potassium and sodium intake Because kidneys can not excrete excess sodium and potassium out of the body, patients need to consume them in limited quantities.

Foods with high potassium such as bananas, apricots should be limited. Also patients need to eat less sodium foods including pickles, bacon, processed foods and canned meat.

Kidney Failure Treatment: which way can help?

Proper diet both contributes to manage kidney failure and slow down the progression into ureamia. However, they can not cure the kidney failure fundamentally and repair the kidney function. In this situation, patients may be recommended to adopt micro-Chinese medicine.

Micro-Chinese medicine has the ability of repairing intrinsic cells and rebuild kidney function. As long as your kidney function is elevated to more than 15%, you are possible to avoid dialysis or kidney transplantation. Learn more about Micro-Chinese Medicine . Contact by Whatsapp: +8615233618520.

What are the Risk Factors of Lupus Nephritis

Lupus Nephritis refers to a secondary disease caused by Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). In this article, we are going to talk about its risk factors. Then, follow me and you will find the answer.

SLE is a kind of progressive autoimmune disorder. And studies show that it will affect various organs, such as, heart, skin, lung, liver, kidney or even nervous system. However, not everyone with SLE are definitely suffer from kidney disorders. After clinical research, our experts concluded the following risk factors:

Abnormal immune system In normal condition, the immune system can help fight against harmful substances from invading our body. However, for those with abnormal immune system, the immune complexes(combination of antigen and antibody) are more likely to deposit in the internal organs of the body. When they deposit in the kidneys, inflammatory response and kidney damage will come into being accordingly.

Certain medications In daily life, doctors may prescribe patients with some medicines to treat this immune-system disorder. However, drugs like penicillin, isoniazide, methyldopa, etc may lead to lupus nephritis. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid taking these drugs. Cold or other infections Except for the above two risk factors, infections and cold can also trigger lupus nephritis. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid infections like urinary tract infection, upper respiratory tract infection, skin infection and so on.

Lupus nephritis need have treatment in early time, If you want to know more informations about treatment. Plz contact with us Whatsapp: 008615233618520 ,

Prognosis of FSGS in Children

Prognosis refers to the prospect of disease. When your child is diagnosed with FSGS,your major concern is that what the disease will develop. This article will introduce the prognosis of FSGS in children and tips how to improve the prognosis.

How is the prognosis of FSGS in children?

The prognosis of FSGS in children varies from individual to individual as it is affected by variables. Some patients may have a complete remission without relapses and further progression. However,in many cases, the diseased children may develop Kidney Failure and have to sustain their life with Dialysis and other replacement treatments.

How to improve the prognosis of FSGS in children?

Prevent FSGS relapses Frequent relapses of nephrotic syndrome play a vital role in affecting the prognosis of FSGS in children. Therefore,it is important to avoid the triggers of the condition. You should never cut down the drug dosage without a doctor’s permission. In addition, infection, colds may also trigger the relapse of FSGS so should also be prevented. Control FSGS complications Most of renal patients do not die of kidney disease itself, but the associated complications before kidneys fail. The complications of FSGS like proteinuria, high blood pressure, infection etc can worsen the prognosis of FSGS in children significantly.

Treatment The conservative treatment for FSGS in children only can relieve the symptoms of the condition and can slow down the condition progression to some extent. However,to improve the prognosis of FSGS in children, immunotherapy will be applied to treat the disease. This therapy has treated a number of diseases and aliments by using the body’s immune system. In treating nephrotic syndrome in children, immunotherapy can correct the immune dysfunction and help the body rebuild normal immune system. If the underlying cause is controlled, FSGS will stop progressing completely.

Diet for Chronic Kidney Disease Children

For children with Chronic Kidney Disease, learning about nutrition is vital because their diet can affect how well their kidneys work. Parents or guardians should always consult with their child’s doctor before making any dietary changes.

Staying healthy with Chronic Kidney Disease requires paying close attention to the following elements of a diet:

Protein. Children with Chronic Kidney Disease should eat enough protein for growth while limiting high protein intake. Too much protein can put an extra burden on the kidneys and cause kidney function to decline faster. Protein needs increase when a child is on dialysis because the dialysis process removes protein from the child’s blood.

Foods with protein include eggs, milk, cheese, chicken, fish, red meats, beans, yogurt ,cottage cheese.

Sodium. The amount of sodium children need depends on the stage of their kidney disease, their age, and sometimes other factors. The doctor recommends limiting or adding sodium and salt to the diet.

Foods high in sodium include canned foods, some frozen foods, most processed foods, some snack foods, such as chips and crackers

Potassium. Potassium levels need to stay in the normal range for children with CKD, because too little or too much potassium can cause heart and muscle problems. Children may need to stay away from some fruits and vegetables or reduce the number of servings and portion sizes to make sure they do not take in too much potassium.

Low-potassium fruits and vegetables include apples, cranberries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, pineapple, cabbage, boiled cauliflower, mustard greens, uncooked broccoli.

High-potassium fruits and vegetables include oranges, melons, apricots, bananas, potatoes, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, cooked spinach, cooked broccoli.

Phosphorus. Children with Chronic Kidney Disease need to control the level of phosphorus in their blood. because too much phosphorus pulls calcium from the bones, making them weaker and more likely to break. Too much phosphorus also can cause itchy skin and red eyes. As Chronic Kidney Disease progresses, a child may need to take a phosphate binder with meals to lower the concentration of phosphorus in the blood.

Phosphorus is found in high-protein foods. Foods with low levels of phosphorus include liquid nondairy creamer, green beans, popcorn, unprocessed meats from a butcher, lemon-lime soda, root beer, powdered iced tea and lemonade mixes, rice and corn cereals, egg white.

Early in Chronic Kidney Disease, a child’s damaged kidneys may produce either too much or too little urine, which can lead to swelling or dehydration. As Chronic Kidney Disease progresses, children may need to limit fluid intake. The doctor will tell the child and parents or guardians the goal for fluid intake. What are the symptoms of Polycystic Kidney Disease

Kidney cysts: Many symptoms of the patients with polycystic kidney are closely related with the development of renal cyst. Renal cortex and medulla exist in multiple cysts, ranging from a few millimeters to several centimeters in diameter, the size of the cyst, number gradually increased with the progression. The degree of male patients with renal cyst increase higher than female patients.

Pain: back or ribs abdominal pain are the most common symptoms of patients with polycystic kidney. with the age of growth, and cyst symptoms gradually are obvious, women are more common. Acute pain or sudden increased pain often prompts urinary tract obstruction and infection caused by cyst rupture hemorrhage, stone, or blood clot.

Hematuria: more than 90% of the patients have capsule hemorrhage or gross hematuria. Most are spontaneity, can also occur in vigorous exercise or after trauma. The reasons of blood in the urine have ruptured intracystic, stones, infection or cancer. Generally Hematuria is self-limited,and it will disappear in 2 ~ 7 days .If the bleeding persists for more than 1 week, or the patients older than 50 years old, need to rule out cancer.

High blood pressure: it is one of the most common early performance of polycystic kidney patients. Blood pressure of 50% young polycystic kidney patients with normal renal function is higher than 140/90 MMHG, and almost 100% had high blood pressure in patients with end-stage renal disease. High and low blood pressure and kidney size and how much the cyst is a proportional relationship, and will increase with the growth of age .

Renal function damage: early renal damage is often characterized by kidney enrichment function decline.During 40 ~ 60 years old, most of patients can maintain normal renal function;Once kidney began to decline, the descent velocity of glomerular filtration rateper year is about 4.4 ~ 4.4 ml/min,it is about 10 years from renal function damage to end-stage renal disease.

Others: 20% Polycystic kidney disease patients will have kidney stones, most are uric acid or calcium oxalate stones. Urinary tract and cyst infection is a common complication, and retrograde infection is the main pathway.Compared with the general population, the onset age of polycystic kidney patients with renal cell carcinoma is earlier , with obvious symptoms, and prone to bilateral sarcomatoid multicenter.

Ten Forbidden Foods for PKD Patients

Polycystic Kidney Disease refers to there are many small and big cysts spreading in kidneys. Due to the unhealthy life style and unscientific diet, the cysts fluids may secrete more and faster. With the growth and enlargement of cysts, PKD patients suffer more and more. This article would have a introduction about the ten forbidden foods for PKD patients.

Pizza. Most pizza crust contains much fat, such as cheese, butter and carbohydrate etc. Meantime pizza is made with rich salt and roast meat. All these can stimulate your impaired kidneys and burden kidney’s work.

Pickled food. Pickles contains too much salt which can worse the condition of water-sodium retention which is bad for edema and high blood pressure. In addition, the substances in pickles may be carcinogenic.

Curry food. Hot and spicy curry food or curry food with many flavorings should be removed from the diet list for PKD patients. Barbecue.

Barbecue also contains cancerogenic substance which can stimulate the secretion of cysts fluids.

Pasta. The “regular” pasta which you usually get outside should not be a choice for PKD patients. Standard pasta is made with refined wheat flour, creamy sauce and cheese, which is really harmful for your impaired kidneys.

Alcohol. Alcohol should be on the avoided diet list for any kidney disease patients, including PKD patients. Alcohol is stimulating drinks which can accelerate the complications of the disease.

Cola. Cola contains many materials like caffeine and high phosphorus etc which are harmful for PKD patients.

Coffee. Coffee contains much caffeine which can stimulate cyclic AMP and speed up the growth speed of cysts to some extent. Meantime, caffeine can increase the risk of high blood pressure, thus worsens your polycystic kidneys.

Chocolate. Similar with coffee, chocolate is another major resource of caffeine.

Foods with high protein. Too much protein intake can increase the kidney metabolism burden, and lead to protein urine, causing further kidney damage.

How to Treat Swollen Ankles and Feet for Lupus Nephritis

Lupus nephritis is a disease that caused by the immune system to attack the kidneys, preventing them from functioning properly. One of the major symptoms of lupus nephritis is swelling in the feet, ankles and lower legs due to excess fluid build-up in the body. Start with Step 1 below for detailed instructions on how to decrease swelling in the ankles and feet, along with additional information about the disease in general.

Decrease the amount of salt in your diet. If you have been diagnosed with lupus nephritis, it is best to limit your salt intake by avoiding foods with a high salt content. Salt (sodium chloride) attracts water molecules in the blood, as sodium molecules are positively charged and water molecules are negatively charged. As a result, having too much salt in your diet causes your body to retain more fluid, leading to swelling in the feet, ankles and legs.

Avoid sodium rich foods such as table salt, soy sauce, cured meat and fish, canned goods, junk foods, cheese, pickles, instant noodles, salted nuts and seeds, pretzels and fast foods.

The degree to which you need to restrict your salt intake will differ from one person to another, depending upon the severity of the condition and your doctor’s advice. If you follow the recommended restrictions carefully, it can help to bring down swelling and reduce blood pressure. Keep your feet elevated to bring down swelling. Keeping your feet and ankles elevated helps to reduce blood flow to this part of the body (due to gravitational force), keeping swelling and inflammation under control.

At night, try to keep your feet elevated above heart level by placing one or two thick pillows underneath your ankles. Ideally, your legs should be elevated at a 30 degree angle.

You should also try to keep your legs elevated as much as possible throughout the day, by propping your feet up on cushions or pillows while lying on the couch. Apply epsom salts and glycerine to draw out excess fluid. Applying a mixture of epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) and glycerine to the ankle helps to reduce swelling in the ankles and feet, as the salt draws excess fluid from the body.

Mix two parts salt to one part glycerine and apply the mixture to the swollen skin around your feet and ankles. Cover the mixture with a bandage and leave in place overnight. Remove the bandage in the morning and repeat the treatment every night until you notice a decrease in swelling.

Even though it is the epsom salts that draw fluid from the body (as salt attracts water molecules) the glycerine is necessary to soothe the skin, as the salt can cause irritation and skin rashes. Glycerine is also a hygroscopic substance (meaning it has the ability to attract and hold water molecules) which gives the salt more time to take effect.

Common Symptoms of Diabetes Kidney Disease

Kidney insufficiency Once you have kidney disease, its course would be progressive until down to Azotemia and uremia. These symptoms is common:

Proteinuria. Glomerular filtration pressure increases and charge changing on filtration membranous, there just are micro albumin appears, this symptom is called as collective proteinuria. No increasing of globin. This condition can insist on many years.

Urine volume decreasing.  Parts of patients’ urine volume will decrease with the illness condition deteriorates due to kidney filtration rate decreasing. There are also many patients, their urine volume is normal, but discharged toxins in urine decrease. So we can’t judged the kidney condition totally by urine volume. This is also a kind of symptom of diabetes kidney disease

Swelling.  Swelling is an obvious symptoms in early stage of uremia, it is because that kidney can’t remove out of excess water. In the early stage, swelling appears in ankles and eyelid, disappears after rest. When it down to systemic swelling and continuity, it will be the typical uremia stage.

High blood pressure.  High blood pressure is common in kidney disease patient, while high blood pressure will accelerate kidney development and deterioration. This is also a manifestation of early diabetes kidney disease .

Anemia.  For diabetes kidney disease  with serious azotemia, they will have light or middle serious anemia, no curative effects after using chalybeate. Anemia is caused by red cell formation obstruct, which is relate to long term protein diet limitation. This is also a symptom of diabetes kidney disease .

What Should Patients Eat with Diabetes Kidney Disease During Dialysis

In Diabetes Kidney Disease patients with diet attention matters except in accordance with the principle of diet treatment of Diabetes Kidney Disease, it is necessary to pay attention to the following points:

Dialysis due to improvement, increased appetite, eating the total calories and protein quality should be appropriately increased than before dialysis. Loss of protein from 2 to 3 5g per dialysis. After dialysis protein in your diet quality according to the daily 1 ~ 1.2g / kg body weight supply, daily to egg 2, milk 5ooml and moderate amounts of fish, meat, such as by hemodialysis blood volume, diet should supplement rich in iron and vitamin C food low phosphorus diet outside, with aluminum hydroxide, to reduce the phosphorus of dialysis absorption when a large number of vitamin loss, should be given in sufficient quantities of vitamin B and vitamin C. diabetes kidney disease before and after the diet is different.

Please friends of patients must mention high attention! Now studies have demonstrated low protein, low cholesterol, unsaturated fatty acid diet is very important to protect the renal function, especially in the early stage of Diabetes Kidney Disease should pay attention to the diet.

Diabetes Kidney Disease patients with diet therapy is very important, is a very important link in the treatment process, But the right treatment can make patients out of dialysis, if you still has urine.

How Long Can You Live With Purpura Nephritis

How long can you live with purpura nephritis is closely related with illness conditions, treatment options and mentality. If you go to normal hospital to accept treatment in the early stage of the disease, you can live a relatively long time like a normal person.

This is because at this stage kidney damage is mild. If your kidney damage is severe, life expectancy will be shortened greatly even if you take treatment.

From this, we can see early detection and early treatment is likely to prolong your life span.

1. treatment options Simple western medicines mainly use immunosuppressant and steroids to treat purpura nephritis. These medicines can keep symptoms under control but fail to treat the root cause. Kidney cells are still in damaged condition. Once you stop taking medicines or catch a cold, it is easy to make your disease relapsed or worsened. Besides, hormone pills also have strong side effects.

To avoid the disadvantages of western medicines, we recommend immunotherapy which combines western medicines and Chinese medicines together. In this therapy, western medicines are used to stabilize the conditions. After conditions get stable, Chinese medicines are used to repair damaged kidney tissues and improve kidney functions. It is the radical remedy for purpura nephritis and helps patients live a long life span.

2. patients’ mentality Patients with good mentality can cooperate with doctor’s treatment to obtain best treatment response. However, patients with destructive mentality will have a lower body’s ability to fight germs and bacteria. This is bad for the therapeutic effects. Therefore, patients should keep an optimistic attitude.

Why Does Nephrotic Syndrome Cause Leg and Hand Cramping

Nephrotic syndrome is a disease which becomes more and more common in modern life. Various diseases can cause nephrotic syndrome, and nephrotic syndrome can cause various symptoms, too. One of the symptoms is leg and hand cramping. Then, why does nephrotic syndrome cause leg and hand cramping?

Let’s discuss it below. Reasons for leg and hand cramping with nephrotic syndrome

1. Hyperkalemia Nephrotic syndrome can disturb the balance of electrolyte in the body, which causes hyperkalemia. In this situation, the patients’ muscle becomes hysterical, so leg and hand cramping occurs.

2. Side effects of steroids and immunosuppressants Nephrotic syndrome patients may take steroids and immunosuppressants to cope with the kidney disease. However, both steroids and immunosuppressants have severe side effects that are another reason causing leg and hand cramping.

3. Calcium deficiency Massive proteinuria is a common symptom of nephrotic syndrome. Calcium can combine with albumin in the proteinuria easily, which results calcium deficiency. And calcium deficiency can cause leg and hand cramping.

4. Disturbance of blood circulation Leg and hand cramping may be cause by disturbance of blood circulation. Kidneys have a close link with blood circulation. Blood circulation supplements enough blood and oxygen to kidneys, while kidneys are responsible for cleansing blood. With nephrotic syndrome, kidney can’t do its work normally, so less blood flow to kidneys and some other organs. This is another reason for cramps.

More information about how to deal with Nephrotic Syndrome Leg and Hand Cramping, plz contact us, Email: kidney-hospital@hotmail.com, Whatsapp: 008615233618520.

Can Patients with Kidney Failure Drink More Water

Some patients may suffer from dehydration, which is mainly caused by drinking less water. So they are eager to know can patients with kidney failure drink more water.

In generally, patients with kidney failure at least have 500ml urine output. Much toxic substances and extra fluid can not be excreted out of body along with urine. But, it dose not mean that patients can drink more water in daily life. This is because that the filtering function of glomerular and absorbing function of renal tubules are decreasing severely. So even if patients have normal urine output, the big amount of toxic substances can not be eliminated out of body effectively. And too much water puts much hard work to renal tubules. If patients have longer term of water intake, this leads to high blood pressure and swelling easily. What is worse, it also can lead to liver swelling, heart failure.

However, some patients may suffer from dehydration with less water intake or even no water intake. Therefore, patients need to have individual treating plant according to patients’ own illness condition. For patients with seriously swelling, patients are recommended to take diuretics to make the kidneys make more urine.

Treatment for Nephrotic Syndrome

1. Hormonotherapy. This is the most common therapy at present. Blood urine and protein urine are cured by this way, so patients hold a great hope on it. But there is a defect that the disease condition can’t be controlled stable and it relapses easily with side effects in short time. So many patients reject this therapy.

2. Traditional Chinese medicine therapy. Many patients will choose this therapy to promote blood circulation and dissolve blood stasis. But sometimes it can’t control severe blood urine well due to its slow effect. Some severer lesions may occur through the treatment process. So please be careful to take this method.

3. Combined therapy of traditional Chinese and western medicine. Immunotherapy, an integrated Chinese-western medicine treatment, can provide patients with satisfactory curative effects. It is a natural therapy with no side effects.

The whole treatment process can be divided into 4 steps as below:

1. Special inspections. Specific medical tests include the CYs-C, β2 macroglobulin, micro-albumin, urine enzyme, NAG, GGT, protein electrophoresis, etc. These tests can reflect which part of kidneys get damaged, which kinds of immune complex deposit in the kidneys, and how much kidneys get damaged.

2. Clear the waste products and toxin substances in human body. There are two kinds of immune complex in patients' body: one is running with blood circulation, the other one is depositing in the kidneys. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy can clear up the immune complex which deposits in the kidneys and cause inflammatory reaction, and immune-adsorbent techniques, plasma exchange and blood purification could help patients discharge the immune complex in the blood.

3. Repair the damaged kidneys and rebuild the kidney structure. It can repair the damaged renal cells (have not died yet). Chinese Medicine has the function of anti-coagulation, anti-inflammation, prevent thrombus, and degradation. What's more, other options such as Medicated Bath, foot bath, and Mai-Kang Composition can regulate the inner environment of human body.

4. Enhance the patient's own immunity. Immunotherapy is a kind of method to enhance the patient's own immunity, as long as the patient's own immunity can be enhanced. The whole body's fighting capacity against diseases can be improved greatly. The purpose is to fight with the disease with the patient’s own immunity, in which way the condition of Nephrotic Syndrome will be not likely to recur.

How to treat Hypertensive Nephropathy

Whether you adopt western medicine or Chinese medicine during the treatment, you should treat your disease based on the following steps.

1)Expanding renal arteriole at all levels. Hypertension stimulation can cause hypoxic-ischemic of Glomerular capillaries. The purpose of vascular dilation is to improve blood supply of all renal blood circulation systems, to relieve hypoxic-ischemic of renal inherent cells. This provides a good condition for repairing endothelial cells.

2)Anti-inflammation. Reducing infiltration of inflammatory cells, avoiding endothelial cells’ damage to inflammatory factors.

3)Anti-anticoagulation. Reducing micro thrombosis in glomerular capillaries. It lays the foundation for repairing endothelial cells.

4)Degradation. The increasing of inflammatory cells of glomerular capillaries can stimulate secretion of extracellular matrix. Only hyperplastic extracellular matrix degrade and expel from bodies can have the effect of repair. In the use of medicine, scientific method should be the combination or synthesis of Chinese and western medicine.

We can not purely use Chinese medicine or western medicine. Because the effects of just one separate method always has its limitation. More information plz email to: kidney-hospital@hotmail.com, Whatsapp: 008615233618520.

What Should Nephrotic Syndrome Patient Eat

The symptoms of nephrotic syndrome are proteinuria, hyperlipidemia, serious swelling and hypoalbuminemia, so diet principle is very important.

Specific requirements are as follows:

1. Lower salt

The amount of salt should be based on the degree of edema of the patients. Patients with serious swelling should avoid salt. Mild-swelling patients should take a low-salt diet (amount of salt is about 3 grams per day),when edema disappeared completely and serum albumin return to normal ,the patients could resume normal diet.

2. Protein intake requirements

Patients with nephrotic syndrome discharge a large number of proteinuria every day. Hypoproteinemia decreased colloid osmotic pressure. Thus, the swelling becomes stubborn and is difficult to release, the body’s immunity and resistance continuously decrease. So the protein intake requirements are as follows:

(1) In the absence of renal failure, the protein intake of nephrotic syndrome adult patients should be 90-100 grams per person everyday to maintain a positive nitrogen balance.

(2) When in poor appetite, the patients could take 1 gram protein per kilogram weight per day. The Chinese medicine which regulates spleen and stomach and the diuretics are also permissible to reduce gastrointestinal edema.

(3) When the appetite improved, the patient can increase the protein intake gradually up to 1.5 grams/kg per day.

(4) When the appetite is good, the patients are allowed to eat freely. If the plasma albumin increase to normal or edema disappeared ,the patients could resume normal diet.

3. Fat intake requirements

Patients with nephrotic syndrome always have hyperlipemia. Patients with small lesions will recover in short time, the fat intake is unlimited. As to refractory nephrotic syndrome, especially membranous nephropathy, patients should be strictly limited fat and food which is rich in animal fats.

4.Vitamins, calcium, microelements intake

Patients with nephrotic syndrome lost a lot of protein and other elements which are combined with protein in urine. Thus, the patients are lack of vitamins, calcium and microelements. So they can supplement these elements by medication or diet.

10 Health Care Tips for Hypertensive Nephropathy

It has been found that there is a positive correlation between the incidence of hypertensive nephropathy and the severity and duration of high blood pressure. Besides, other factors include gender, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hyperuricemia will further aggravate kidney damages.

Primary high blood pressure usually occurs to people between 25 to 45 and symptoms of renal damages due to hypertension usually occurs at 40 to 60 and the male are more susceptible to kidney damages than the female. The earliest sigh of renal damage might be the increased night urination which reflects that the renal tubules having ischemic lesions. And then there will be bubbles in urine due to much protein leakage in urine which reflects that the glomeruli have been damaged.

Researches have proved that there is 1/10000 chance that primary hypertension can lead to kidney failure and there is more obvious decline of kidney function among those that do not receive anti-hypertension treatments.

Here are 10 health cares for hypertensive nephropathy patients.

1. Hypertensive nephropathy patients should avoid long term writing which can cause too much tension in the brain and induce the blood pressure to increase.

2. Be slow while getting up and lie on the back for a while after waking up. Energize the head, neck and upper limbs to adapt to the position change.

3. The breakfast should be light and nutrition. such as one cup of milk, one egg and one piece of bread.

4. Have some soups or porridge in lunch.

5. Do not eat too much and 70% full is advisable in supper.

6. Have regular morning exercises and mild activities can help ease artery pressure.

7. Have warm water while taking bath, the best choice to have 40℃ water.

8. Have slight activities after lunch and have a nap.

Can Diabetes Be Recover When Kidney Damaged

Whether diabetic nephropathy can be reversed or not is knowing the serious degree of diabetic nephropathy.

In the early stage of diabetic nephropathy, glomerular damage is not serious. You can recover through controlling your blood sugar level strictly, improving filtration rate of glomerular base membranous and then decreasing the volume of microalbumin.

While in middle stage and end stage of diabetic nephropathy, glomerular was damaged seriously, illness develop to irreversible stage, treatment can improve urine protein of diabetic nephropathy patients, delay the illness aggravation, but it is difficult to recover renal lesion and reversible of kidney function. So it is very important for diabetic nephropathy patients to treat in the early stage.

It is a breakthrough of kidney disease treatment. Chinese medicines can help dilate blood vessels, anti-inflammation, anti-coagulation, preventing blood viscosity and degrading extracellular matrixes. It is a personalized therapy. This therapy consists of four steps: oral taking Chinese medicines, Maikang composition, external application of Chinese medicine and Foot Bath. These therapies can help increase the blood flow into kidneys and prompt the self-curative ability of impaired kidney cells. As more and more impaired kidney cells recover to work, patients’ kidney function will increase gradually.

If you want to get the treatment, you can attach your test reports to kidney-hospital@hotmail.com and we will do our best to help you.

Tips for Renal Cyst Patients to Prevent Kidney Stone

Renal cyst patients suffer the higher risk of being attacked by kidney stone. Kidney stone can bring more pains and even lead to hydronephrosis which can cause serious kidney damage. Then what can renal cyst patients do to prevent the formation of kidney stone. Here list some tips which need patients pay more attention to in their daily life.

1. Drinking more boiled water: more boiled water can decrease the concentration of calcium ion and oxalate in urine, so the kidney stone can not be formed. Related researches show that the increase of urine volume can decrease the rate of formation of kidney stone.

2. Proper calcium intake: renal cyst patients should keep a reasonable calcium intake, especially calcium intake from the diet. Because when the calcium combine with the oxalic acid in intestines and stomach, the oxalic acid flowing into kidney will decrease, decreasing the rate of kidney stone formation.

3. Limiting foods with high sugar and high oxalate: the intake of high sugar and oxalate foods such as tomatoes, spinach, strawberries, sugar beet, chocolate, bean products and so on can increase the rate of formation of kidney stone.

4. Limiting milk intake before go to bed at night: milk contains rich calcium, however, after 2-3 hours of patients went to sleep, the kidney will excrete the calcium at the most degree, but people urinate less at night, which means the concentrate of urine increase, so people are easy to suffer kidney stone.

5. Limiting foods rich in vitamin D: vitamin D foods such as cod-liver oil can promote the excretion of calcium and phosphorus in urine, increasing the rate of formation of kidney stone.

Can Kidney Disease Patient Eat Walnuts

Walnuts are the healthiest of all the nuts and should be eaten more as part of a healthy diet, US scientists say.

Scientists from Pennsylvania told the American Chemical Society that walnuts contain the highest level of antioxidants compared to other nuts. Antioxidants are known to help protect the body against disease.

The scientists said that all nuts have good nutritional qualities but walnuts are healthier than peanuts, almonds, pecans and pistachios.

Dr Joe Vinson, from the University of Scranton, analysed the antioxidant levels of nine different types of nuts and discovered that a handful of walnuts contained twice as many antioxidants as a handful of any other commonly eaten nut.

He found that these antioxidants were higher in quality and potency than in any other nut. Antioxidants are good because they stop the chain reactions that damage cells in the body when oxidation occurs.

How to Improve the Prognosis of Purpura Nephritis

For patients with purpura nephritis, they may be eager to know how to improve the prognosis of purpura nephritis, which is able to slow down the progression. Well then, patients with purpura nephritis must have a good health care which improves the prognosis effectively.

1. Patients should avoid cold and infections. It is said that the onset of purpura nephritis has a close relation with infections like upper respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection and so on. In this case, patients should avoid these inducing factors as much as possible.

2. Patients with purpura nephritis should have a healthy diet. A well-planned diet plays an important role in purpura nephritis patients. Purpura nephritis is an allergic disease while the causes of allergy is often difficult to be found out, so patients should avoid foods that are allergy such as fish, shrimp, crab, white spirit, chocolate and so on, because they may cause allergic reaction easily. What’s more, patients should also avoid spicy foods and eat some light foods.

Also they can consume some foods rich in vitamin C which is able to lower the permeability of blood vessels. For this, fresh vegetables, fruits, tomato, apple, etc can be a good choice. Of course, different people have different illness conditions, so the diet should be different. If you need any help, you can send your medical report to us, we can give you a help.

3. Patients can do some aerobic exercise. Some physical exercises such as jogging, walking, swimming, yoga and tai chi are recommended to people with purpura nephritis.

4. Control symptoms and complications With the disorder progression, a series of symptoms may occur such as proteinuria, blood in urine, rash, swelling, arthritis, etc. In this case, patients should take effective treatment to control the symptoms, otherwise the symptoms will elevate their illness condition and speed up the progression into end stage renal failure. Here, we recommend them immunotherapy which has an outstanding efficacy in treating kidney disease.

The diet for patients with high uric acid kidney disease

Take low purine diet. The selected food with low purine includes flour, onions, fruit, milk, eggs and so on; And they can not take these diets with high purine, such as animal offal, brain and various broth, gravy, sardines, anchovies, mackerel, shrimp, lentils, soybeans and algae; Besides, these food containing purine should be carefully chosen, such as roughage, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, lentils, poultry meat,

Drink more water, daily drinking water amount should reach 2500~3000 ml. Besides, drinking more water and eating more fruits is also a great way, which can increase the amount of urine to help the kidneys to discharge uric acid, reduce uric acid damage on  the kidneys.

Limit sodium salt, 2~5 grams per day is appropriate for patients.

Eat more alkaline food, which includes vegetables and fruit Alkaline environment can improve the solubility of uric acid salt, and the substance rich in vitamin C can promote tissue uric acid salt dissolved, facilitate the excretion of uric acid. Generally speaking, daily intake amount for vegetables should reach 1 kg (containing purine vegetables should be avoided),and eating fruits for 4 to 5 times.

Stop eating spicy and stimulate food, and drinking wines or smoking. In the past, people thought that the  gout patients should be forbidden to take coffee, tea and cocoa, but now the persons thought that these foods does not produce uric acid salt, and there is no tophus. Therefore, it may be appropriate to take.

Diet and kidney of a patient treated in phase 3

Experts say that the phase 3 is an important chronic kidney disease stage, and if you're happy and you can get proper treatment in time, and then Eksh.ma not, and you are sick of the possible deterioration of the renal failure, so as a patient in this case, you must you take action from the diet and treatment at the same time.

Diet is a factor easier to control, as long as you make the right diet with the help of nutrition and insist on it, you will get what you want. But the treatment can not be controlled by yourself, because it depends on many things, such as the country in which it resides and treatments that you can get. So even if you have enough money, but without proper treatment, the disease also can not be cured.

As we all know the item traditional medicine, dialysis is the most common way to control the stage 3 kidney disease, it can certainly help to alleviate to some extent but can not be cured from its roots, and finally, will the kidney goes to failure. What is worse, the patient will have to suffer more pain to bring this type of treatment method. So as a doctor kidney disease, I advise you to take the treatment of partial medication is safe and effective for the treatment of kidney disease. With little side-effects, and the therapeutic effect of a large, it can help people to reverse the disease for some pride. So you have to fall into the advanced stage of the disease, you too can have a chance to avoid dialysis and kidney transplant.

Do you know how important our kidneys are

The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs that extract waste from blood, balance body fluids, form urine, and aid in other important functions of the body.

When it comes to components of the urinary system, the kidneys are multi-functional powerhouses of activity. Some of the core actions of the kidneys include:

Waste excretion: There are many things your body doesn’t want inside of it. The kidneys filter out toxins, excess salts, and urea, a nitrogen-based waste created by cell metabolism. Urea is synthesized in the liver and transported through the blood to the kidneys for removal.

Water level balancing: As the kidneys are key in the chemical breakdown of urine, they react to changes in the body’s water level throughout the day. As water intake decreases, the kidneys adjust accordingly and leave water in the body instead of helping excrete it.

Blood pressure regulation: The kidneys need constant pressure to filter the blood. When it drops too low, the kidneys increase the pressure. One way is by producing a blood vessel-constricting protein (angiotensin) that also signals the body to retain sodium and water. Both the constriction and retention help restore normal blood pressure.

Red blood cell regulation: When the kidneys don’t get enough oxygen, they send out a distress call in the form of erythropoietin, a hormone that stimulates the bone marrow to produce more oxygen-carrying red blood cells.

Acid regulation: As cells metabolize, they produce acids. Foods we eat can either increase the acid in our body or neutralize it. If the body is to function properly, it needs to keep a healthy balance of these chemicals. The kidneys do that, too.

6 kinds of vegetables can quickly clean up the garbage in the blood

1. The eggplant contains a variety of vitamins, especially the purple eggplant contains more vitamin P, which can enhance cell adhesion, improve microvascular elasticity.

2. The garlic contains volatile paprika element, which can remove the fat accumulated in blood vessels, have the significant effect of lower cholesterol.

3. The cauliflower contains low fat, high dietary fiber, which is very suitable for high cholesterol people. In addition it also contains a variety of micronutrients.

It is important to note that cauliflower contains vitamins that are water soluble, so in order to avoid the loss of nutrients, the best cooking method is: avoid cut by knife; avoid stewed for a long time, but with stir-fried or steamed.

4. Modern research has found that carrot contains a large number of biological potassium. Potassium enters into the blood, can emulsify the oil in the blood, at the same time can effectively dissolve "cholesterol sclerosis plaques" deposits on the walls of blood vessels and discharge rubbish out of the body. It has the effects of depressing blood fat, reducing blood viscosity, cleaning up blood vessels, increasing blood vessel elasticity, and improving microcirculation.

5. Oatmeal is extremely rich in linoleic acid, and is also very rich in vitamin E. They all can lower plasma cholesterol concentration.

6. Soy beans are cheaper, safe and effective food for lowering blood fat, every day eat only half a bowl of beans in lunch time can reduce "bad cholesterol" levels by 20% in 8 weeks. Soy foods contain a variety of active ingredients of reducing cholesterol, in which one of the most is soluble and insoluble fiber in beans.

Dialysis patients how diet help protect the kidneys?

1, protein intake: selection of high-quality animal protein of high biological potency based, such as milk, eggs, fish, lean meat, add a variety of essential amino acids. Plant soybeans, peanuts, although containing high protein, but contains essential amino acids less, should not eat.
2, caloric intake: Generally 30 ~ 45kcal / kg / d, according to individual differences.
3, calcium and other substances: calcium, zinc and iron, and a sufficient amount of B vitamins
4, water restrictions: general daily control weight gain 0.5kg is appropriate, between dialysis excessive water intake can lead to water intoxication and cardiovascular complications.
5, limit sodium: sodium per day should be limited to 2 ~ 3g, prevent high blood pressure and heart failure.
6, limited potassium: potassium intake restriction to prevent hyperkalemia.
7, limit phosphorus: calcium high phosphorus can cause metabolic bone disease, avoid eating foods high in phosphorus such as animal heart, brain, kidney, liver, plant soybeans, peanuts and other foods.
8, when patients with diabetic nephropathy dialysis diet Note In addition to compliance with the principles of dietary treatment of diabetic nephropathy, it would need to note the following: Due to the condition improved, increased appetite after dialysis, total calories and protein quality diet should be increased over the previous dialysis. Each dialysis about lost protein 2 ~ 3.5g. After dialysis quality protein diet per day 1 ~ 1.2g / kg body weight supplied daily to 2 eggs, milk 5OOml, amount of fish, meat and other large blood loss due to hemodialysis, the diet should be supplemented with rich containing iron and vitamin C foods to eat low phosphorus diet, but also when added with aluminum hydroxide to reduce the absorption of phosphorus dialysis lot of vitamin loss, should be given sufficient quantities of vitamin B and vitamin C.

Kidney Disease, Dialysis and Alternative Treatment

Kidneys act like a filter to clean waste from your blood. Then they mix the waste with a little water. That's what urine is — body waste mixed in water. The urine goes to your bladder, which you empty when you pee.

In addition to removing wastes from your bloodstream, the kidneys also make and regulate hormones and other chemicals in your body. When the kidneys aren't working correctly, your body can develop several problems, including:

  • joint problems
  • body aches and pains
  • fatigue
  • bone problems
  • itchy skin
  • sleep problems
  • anemia, a problem in which the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin in the blood is too low.

Dialysis may be used for patients who have become ill and have acute kidney failure (temporary loss of kidney function), or for fairly stable patients who have permanently lost kidney function (stage 5 chronic kidney disease). Actually dialysis can make part of toxins out of body but it also can make many complications such as weakness, high blood pressure etc. So patients need find a alternative treatment of dialysis.

PKD With Dialysis

Generally speaking, dialysis is the quickest way to clear part of the toxin out of body.It can take over part of native kidney function and it does clear away creatinine temporarily. However, it cannot treat kidney disease and recover the damaged glomerulus. Since the patient's kidney function is damaged, these toxin can't be expelled out of his/her body, so they accumulate and deposite in the patient's body, including the micromolecule toxin(such as creatinine, blood urea and uric acid), the middlemolecule toxin(such as the Cys-C and PTH) and the macromolecule toxin(such as the HCY, RBP and the BMG). However, dialysis is only able to discharge a part of micromolecule toxin, it can clear away the middle molecule toxin and the macromolecule toxin. With so much toxins in body, it easy to catch heart failure. Dialysis also causes many side effects, such as fatigue, muscle cramps, itchy skin and infection. What's more, dialysis has bad impacts on heart, almost half of dialysis patients died from heart problem.

If you are a PKD patient, which means that there are mutiple cysts on your kidneys,so your kidneys have been damaged.PKD It is a kind of heteromorphosis of the renal tubular epithelial cells, you know, the renal tubular is the place where the crude urine is reabsorbed.Once there are cysts, the crude urine cannot come through the renal tubular smoothly and will be detained there .what's more, the epithelial cells secreting the fluid inner the cysts will cause the cysts growing bigger and bigger. Then you will have high blood pressure and pain in the waist.Besides, proteinuria and Urine occult blood maybe occure. At last, once the cysts burst ,the fluid flows out and then it will caused infection in kidneys and you will feel pain, then your kidney function will be damaged gradually.

You May Need Dialysis If Diabetes Damages Your Kidneys

One cause of kidney failure is diabetes mellitus, a condition characterised by high blood glucose (sugar) levels. Over time, the high levels of sugar in the blood damage the millions of tiny filtering units within each kidney. This eventually leads to kidney failure.

Although kidney damage can sometimes be prevented or delayed, some people with diabetes may need dialysis if their kidneys fail.

How Can Diabetes Avoid Dialysis?

Stem cell therapy is to inject healthy stem cells into your body. The damaged kidneys can release cytokines to draw those stem cells to the injured parts. And then they will be divided into new renal cells to work. From this point of view, stem cell therapy can help you restore part kidney function; on the other hand, stem cell therapy is not suitable for all dialysis patients, for example, patients without kidney function. It is likely for dialysis patients to lose all their kidney function after years of dialysis. In such case, their kidneys can not release cytokines and then stem cells can not reach kidneys to differentiate.

It is important to set up a good blood environment. Since dialysis cannot remove the middle and macromolecular wastes, patients should look for alternative treatments. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, Medicated Bath and Hot Compress Therapy can be the best options before using stem cell therapy.

How Diabetes Affects the Kidneys and How You Eat

Damage to blood vessels. Even with the use of injected insulin, people who have had diabetes for some time often suffer from damage to the small blood vessels of the body. This may cause damage to the retina of the eye and result in loss of vision. Also, the delicate blood vessels in the filters of the kidney may be damaged. At the early stage, this damage is shown by finding protein in the urine.

Sometimes at a later stage, so much protein is lost from the blood that water from the blood moves into the body tissues and causes swelling (edema). After a number of years, the kidneys' filters can become so damaged by diabetes that the kidneys fail.

Damage to nerves. Diabetes can also damage the nerves in many parts of the body. When the bladder is affected, it may be difficult to pass urine. The pressure from urine building up in the bladder can damage the kidneys.

Infections. The urine of people with diabetes has a high sugar content. This encourages the growth of bacteria and kidney infections may occur. People with diabetes must take special care to avoid infections and have them treated immediately.

How Much Can You Eat?

Check the serving sizes on nutrition labels -- they may be smaller than you think. Eat only the amount of food in your diabetes meal plan. Extra calories lead to extra fat and pounds.

Don't skip meals, though. Eat them, as well as snacks, at regular times every day.

What Is the TLC(Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes) Diet for Diabetes

  • Limit fat to 25%-35% of your total daily calories.
  • Get no more than 7% of your daily calories from saturated fat, 10% or less from polyunsaturated fats, and up to 20% from monounsaturated fats (like plant oils or nuts).
  • Keep carbs to 50%-60% of your daily calories.
  • Aim for 20-30 grams of fiber each day.
  • Allow 15% to 20% of your daily calories for protein.
  • Cap cholesterol at less than 200 milligrams per day.
